SYFOC 2008 !

I have been thinking about what happened yesterday the whole night, or rather just now morning. I reached home at 0015Hrs. So I'll start slowly. Haha. Hello by the way. Yesterday was the real Singapore Youth Festival Opening Ceremony 2008. 27th June 2008. Ohmygod I miss everyone already! OKAY. I should start giving details now, before I get scrambled up.

Firstly, thank you, TOs and OC for giving me the chance to participate in the SYFOC Parade. I was very lucky for this opportunity because I'm afraid I won't have a chance next year. And I don't think it would be the same if I went for NDP instead because I wouldn't have met all the wonderful people that were involved in the parade.

Secondly, thank you FI Faizal for selecting me to join the Guard Of Honour Contingent. You were the one who made it all happen for me. Although you won't remember me, I know you would remember us as one whole contingent. Not forgetting the GOH Boys contingent. And the supporting contingent.

Next, we GOH Girls and Boys all went through blood, sweat and tears together during every single training. We were really tired but I realised that we didn't mention the word "tired" so often and expose our weakness to all the other CCAs, especially the NCC who was also the Guard Of Honour. So we had to perform to show that we were the best of the best. And we did! According to Rasidah Ma'am.

To all our Officers and Cadet Inspectors, Alan Sir especially, we all feel that you were the one who sort of bonded us together, both contingents. (Being the AQUA CI:) haha Although you were one of the most annoying CIs around, you taught us about discipline and poise. And I really hate actual days too, because it is the time to say goodbye. Thank you, sir. Ma'am Saleha, I will confirm to always polish my boots okay! And Ma'am Rasidah, thank you for disciplining us too. ((:

To FI Fadzri, this was your last parade as you are leaving already. You are like a big brother to all of us. Your really crude jokes always brightened our day, somehow. LOL. krik krik krik krik krik. I am really happy that all of us was able get along with you. Er I think. HAHA. You signed my bag, so yay! Last night, whoa. Your speech really affected us. You said that if people tell you that you can't do it, don't be so arrogant to not want to learn more. All the more we have to prove them wrong and give our best. And that NPCC can really mould us into great people. Good luck in future! And not forgetting the 4 versions. ((: NPCC, NCC, Girl Guides and St. John. HAHAHAHAHA! :D

Finally, the Guard of Honour GIRLS Contingent! We did it! I love you guys and will seriously miss you guys like hell. Especially Anisah, Jasma, Suhailah, Suhaila, Sabrina, Nazihah. Your kecoh-ness really lightened up all our moods. Hahaha Thank your for the great experience! <3
And to Radin, Zahid and Fauzi, we had fun going home together with Anisah from Boon Lay all the way to the East side. Laughing at the people who sat in front of us like the guy who slept on a stranger's shoulder and the gay couple. Sick, but it was hilarious. (: Hope there would be some kind of reunion soon!

And I miss my M-16 Babies ):
Especially numbers 99 and 273, that stuck with me during the preview and the actual parade.
There were tears involved yesterday night too. Because people were leaving and separating from each other. Emotional, but meaningful. Aw.

SYFOC!
THIS IS OUR PARADE, HAH!
